A companion, not a chatbot.
Ani is a tiny desk-side pet for your Mac with a voice and a brain. She chats, remembers what you ask her to, checks in when you want her to, and acts only after your yes. Private by default: voice stays on-device, and nothing leaves your Mac unless you send it.

On-device voice
"Hey Ani" wakes her locally — the listening never leaves your machine.
Proactive, not pushy
She checks in on your terms — a stretch reminder after a long Xcode session, a nudge you asked for — and never acts without your confirmation.
Private by design
Voice is on-device; actions run only on your explicit yes. Ani is a companion you can trust with your desktop.
